On Friday (March 18th) we will be offering a free pattern from Laurie Kwok of Jen Ashley Doll Designs. Laurie is a graduate of our Design Academy and you'll love her fun pattern collection.
More About Laurie and Jen Ashley Designs, (in her own words): I was inspired to sew at a young age by two of my aunts who sewed and crocheted every chance they had. I was impressed by the beautiful things they created for their families and themselves. One aunt taught me the basics of sewing and crocheting and how to sew doll clothes for my Barbie, Skipper, Tammy, and Pepper dolls. By the time I reached my teens, I was making clothes for myself. When my children were growing up, I made most of their dress clothes, some of their play clothes, and most of their Halloween costumes. I made several suits and sailor outfits for my two sons and matching hand smocked dresses for my daughter and her American Girl dolls. I enjoy making doll clothes for my Etsy shop, craft shows, and custom orders. I started publishing patterns with Pixie Faire in 2014. So far, I have a variety of patterns (including sports patterns) inspired by clothing children and teens wear.

Breezy summer top
I vote for Breezy Summer top because it has a lot of possibilities. You could lengthen the bottom part and make it into a mini, midi or maxi dress with an Empire waist, you could add sleeves, short or long or md length. You could make pleats, ruffles, or layers on the lower half. So many possibilities for this ensemble. Thank you Pixie Faire.

Granddaughter says Breezy Top for her AG doll;)
Here is your help. On Friday go to Pixie Faire. Either find the pattern in the Freebie Friday link and click on it or find the pattern under the shop by designer or American Girl classification and click on it. That will take you to another screen wher you can add to wish list, or purchase it. It should show a $0.00 cost. Add it to your cart and then check out. When you are done checking out you will see a banner in the upper left corner that says “click here to download digital goods”. Or something to that effect. Save it on your computer and when you are ready to sew you can print the pattern pages and follow the instructions on your computer. You can also print all pages if you want but some of the patterns have very many pages.
Hope this works for you. By the way I am votin for the Breezy summer top.
