My favorite Christmas tradition is reading the Christmas story from Luke as a family, then opening gifts…
On Christmas, birthday’s and summer vacation each of our 10 young grandchildren receive a shirt that I have made for them. They may all look alike or be totally different. I enjoy doing this for each one of them and cater them to their own likes. We get to see one of our sons and his family twice a year so we make the most of that time spent together. The thrills, shrills and laughter make it all worth the effort. So not just on Christmas but we have this ongoing all year round.
I think I started a new Christmas tradition this year! Along with several others, I gathered Christmas gifts for a friend and her two daughters who have had nothing but bad luck lately, including bad health. It was so much fun!
My favorite holiday tradition is gathering with family and enjoying the children opening their presents.
