My favorite holiday tradition is sharing time with the neighborhood ’s young children. They come to visit me. and I always make something just for them. Their sweet hugs and voices are so touching to my heart. I love the little children who share their life with me. I guess I am the neighborhood grandma.
My favourite holiday tradition is getting together with my kids and grandchildren and opening just one gift that was always new pjs and now I will new pjs for my granddaughter’s American girl doll that she is Gerri g for Christmas this year.
My favorite tradition at Christmas is ode writing. This was started many years ago by my grandmother, who was in the habit of writing clever poems to attach to gifts that she was giving to us. Long after her passing we’ve continued this wonderful tradition – Christmas is just as much about reading out loud to everyone the ode attached to your gift as it is about the gift inside! Grandma Weiss is surely with us each and every Christmas.
