My favorite Holiday tradition is getting together with family and friends. We were 7 children (now we are 4) and our house was open for all friends and neighbours (especially all the single persons with nowhere to go). Now we take turns hosting Christmas as the families have grown. Everyone brings some homemade food and we still have an open house for extended family members. We usually number from 35 to 45 for a great celebration. I’m looking forward to going to my brother’s place this year and seeing family. As I live in another province, this may be the only opportunity to see so of them this year. Merry Christmas to all!

My favorite holiday tradition started 50+ yrs ago ….. My mother started making spaghetti and meatballs for Christmas Eve dinner. As we got older, we carried out Christmas Eve dinner was spaghetti and meatballs. This last August, we lost our mother. But, I know that my sisters and I thought of our mother as we carried on her traditionn.

My favorite Holiday tradition is to spend time with family or friends remembering what Christmas is about – the birth of Christ. Spending time together, eating, laughing, singing and just relaxing is great.

Cassandra

My favorite Holiday tradition is the midnight candlelight service at church on Christmas Eve.

My favorite tradition is gathering for our annual Christmas Eve family photo(hubby, kids, grandkids &me), in spite of some “rolling eyes & not another picture” looks on the faces of some. After being blessed with six beautiful granddaughters and being eight years since any new family additions, it was extra special this year as we were blessed with a new grandson,
