My favorite tradition is making gifts for the family. For my family it was started by my maternal grandmother and fostered by my mother. Its my favorite, planning and making that special something for each person. Like a special 18" doll dress for my 8 year old grand daughter :O) My husband and daughter now follow the family tradition and it makes gift giving so very special. After all Christmas is all about LOVE.
My favorite Christmas tradition, and the first thing I do every year is setting up the Nativity set. It stays up until Epiphany, which is January 6.
My favorite Holiday tradition is helping others who have children in need of a Great Christmas. I love giving to children, it reminds me of when two angels came to my home when I was 9 years old. They knock at our door ask for me and I wasn’t afraid even though my mother had told me not to open the door to anyone. They brought lots of food and put it on our table, a tree already decorated and my first Barbie. The greatest part was when they filled our couch full of dresses that only fitted me and they went all the way up to the ceiling. I wore them all of my elementary school years. We were so poor, we had no heat, we ate out of trash cans and as I stood in the middle of the living room asking God why. The next thing I knew it, there they were. You ask why? Because who brings a tree already decorated and sit it right in front of your window full of toys and gifts. Now I donate my Pixie Dolls and make them outfits for those little girls who have none.:)

My favorite holiday tradition is baking homemade cookies with my three daughters who are now grown and we still have a blast making cookies on Christmas Eve ?
