I shop for wool felt at overtheriverfelt.com. I am pleased with the variety of colors available, the fiber options, and the quality – it’s top-notch!
I shop for fabric at Hobby Lobby. I am pleased with the selection which is the biggest in my area for cottons.
I shop at Walmart and Hobby Lobby for fabric. I have found wonderful trim in thrift stores.
I do most of my shopping at three small local fabric stores which are within a 40 minute drive of my home. I do order a few things online (velcro and buttons) but ordering many things online is cost prohibitive because of shipping to where I live. There are no big national stores in my area that carry fabric or notions that I can use. I mainly scrounge and make do with what I can find. That I includes shopping at local thrift stores.
For supplies, I like to shop at Homesew.com and Etsy, and sewingpartsonline.com for machine parts.
