I shop for my invisible zippers, threads and other supplies at Wawak. Aside from great prices, their shipping costs are great and so is the customer service.
I shop for sewing notions at JoAnn Fabric, usually with coupons. Both JoAnn and Hobby Lobby have a good supply of yarn and cotton fabric. Customer service is very good in both stores. For patterns, I buy online.
I shop for mostly all of my fabrics and accessories in my own studio. I have many tubs of scraps from creating clothing for my family and their friends over the years.
I shop for doll patterns here at pixiefaire.com as well as joanns and amazon. I was pleased with everything with pixiefaire’s customer service. They have helped me so much throughout this pandemic and rediscovering my love for sewing. I can not thank you enough. I never shopped online for craft supplies and really had to venture out of my comfort zone. I have ordered notions mostly thru amazon and some fabric thru joanns. I have a hard time with fabric and prefer to go into the stores.
I shop for snap-in button eyes on AliExpress. The prices are really good, the quality is normally quite high, and they almost always offer free shipping. As long as you are willing to wait a couple weeks for them to get here, it is an excellent deal for projects like ragdolls or plushies.
I also like to get the little travel sewing kits from the dollar store, because they are the handiest thing in the world to have, and they contain everything you need in a cute little zipper pouch for just a dollar.
