I shop for sewing supplies everywhere! In quilt shops and online. If shopping online I type in what I’m looking for and explore. I have found some wonderful places with beautiful fabric!
I shop for TOP quality cotton fabrics at Mulqueen’s , my local quilting shop. They were able to update their business during the COVID shut down by shopping on line with mail service or curbside pick up. Their prices are LOW with a GREAT selection. Even had a FUN sewing Machine give away during Christmas. A friendly FUN place to shop.
I shop for almost all my sewing stuff at my grandmother’s sewing room. She has just about everything! If she doesn’t have something, I can usually find it at Joanns or Hobby Lobby. I was pleased with the large variety of stuff available.
The options I have available are Joann, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and Walmart. I am happy with the convenience of all, but the selection of miniature items such as buttons and mini zippers that I need are pretty limited. Of course, Michaels doesn’t have fabric or sewing notions to speak of. The employees are nice and do their best with what they have.
I shop on Etsy for fabric. I prefer it over a store, actually, because the selection is so good!!! So I am pleased with the selection and competitive prices for fabric.
