Both my hubby’s family and my family are close descendants of Native American Indians and I would love to see patterns for both Native Indians and Frontiersman.
A favorite cultural tradition I like is Irish Dancers. I would like to see an Irish Dancer dress.
I’m descended from Scottish & Native American but our family has been in the hills so long that much has been lost & even hidden. A family tradition I like is the making of sorghum / molasses.
A favorite cultural tradition I take part in or find interesting is eating pork and sauer kraut for New Year’s day for luck. A cultural pattern I would like to see offered at Pixie Faire would be lederhosen, not sure I spelled that right. My Mom was German Irish so both the highland outfits and the New Years dinner fit in so nicely today!
