I would love to see more Native American clothing patterns, with specific instructions for various tribal differences.
Attending the medieval Renaissance festival in my area. The turkey leg is always the highlight for my boys but I love dressing up in capes. There are Highland games about an hour from here. If I win, our dolls will have to attend with us!!
One of my favorite cultural traditions that I find interesting is the changing of the guard at the Royal Palace. They look so regal in their red jackets and black hats. I would like to see a pattern in their style like the toy soldier from F.A.O. Schwartz.

A favorite cultural tradition I take part in & find interesting is…Hogmanay. Home & hearth get a good cleaning. Debts are to be cleared before the new year. The bells strike at midnight, all sing ‘Auld Lang Syne just after midnight & the first-footer arrives. Our tradition reminds me of scripture verses…old is made new, forgive us our debts, remember all the ways you’ve been blessed & have overcome in the past year & start new-all things are made new! This tradition welcomes both family & strangers :)
A cultural pattern I would like to see offered at Pixie Faire would be…a featurette of various cultures…possibly a monthly sort of thing? Few are of a singular culture, ye olde melting pot if you will. Would be appropriate because ‘Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world, red & yellow, black & white, we’re all precious in his sight…’
