A FAVORITE CULTURAL TRADITION I TAKE PART IN OR FIND INTERESTING IS Saint Lucia Day. The celebration comes from Sweden. On December 13th, the oldest girl in the family dresses in a long white gown with a red sash. She puts a wreath of lit candles on her head and sings as she goes through the house delivering breakfast to her family in the darkness of the morning. Traditionally, breakfast would be buns or cookies in the shape of cats.
A favorite cultural tradition I take part in is Hanukkah. A cultural pattern I would like to see offered at Pixie Faire would be any outfits of African origin.

my family is a traditional american family,Heinz 57 mix.I would love to see some traditional american Native costumes.
Cultural events documented by costuming is of interest to many people….particularly featuring an Old World Christmas. The costumes shown are well done and would be welcomed in any doll’s wardrobe.
