12 Days of Christmas Day 12 - January 5th, 2019 Enter To Win Joss Kendrick Girl of The Year Doll!

Hi everyone, Today is DAY 12! The final day of our super amazing 12 Days of Christmas giveaways and we're ending it with a big surprise!

Giveaway update: Congratulations to Maureen A. she has been selected as the winner of this new doll and she has been contacted by email!

For our 12th Day Of Christmas giveaway, we are giving away the brand new American Girl® 2020 Girl of the Year doll, Joss Kendrick! The winner will receive the brand new 18-inch doll, in her original packaging, mailed to her directly from Pixie Faire!

Here's the description from the American Girl® website (images are also from the American Girl Website):

Joss is a fierce surfer girl who never backs down from a challenge—even if it means taking a chance on something new, like trying out for cheer. But landing a spot on the cheer team is harder than it looks: Joss is hard of hearing, and often misses the count. She’s determined to prove herself as a cheerleader and a surfer girl and realizes that an all-in attitude and an open mind might help her fly higher than ever before.

  • The 18” Joss doll has brown eyes and long layered brown hair with sun-kissed highlights that can be brushed and styled
  • Her favorite outfit has a zip-up hoodie top with foil-print waves and denim shorts with embroidery on the pockets
  • A pink print swimsuit means she’s always ready for playing at the beach
  • Her hearing aid comes with its own carrying case and a brush to keep the sand out of it (plus a backup hearing aid in case she can’t find hers)
  • Pink flip-flop sandals are perfect for wearing to the beach
  • She includes the Joss paperback book

When you sign up at this annual rate you are locked in at $96 per year indefinitely (or until you cancel). That's just $8 per month, and each month you get a coupon code for one free pattern from select brands. Today we're announcing the 4th brand added to the Sewing With Cinnamon bonuses!

If you're not interested in the annual subscription, you can also join at the monthly rate of $14.99 and cancel at any time. You will receive all of the bonuses and content for the current month, and subsequent months while you are a member.

Learn more about all the amazing benefits of the Sewing With Cinnamon membership community here: Sewing With Cinnamon and stay tuned as we announce all the surprises that will be offered to new and existing subscribers during the 12 days of Christmas celebration!

Day 2 Bonus - But wait, there's more!

To sweeten the deal even more, we've added a new bonus for all Sewing With Cinnamon members - the Liberty Jane Ginza Girl pattern and the full sew-along video is now a permanently free SWC bonus! Make this darling coat dress and capelet for your 18-inch American Girl doll with complete confidence! (This is a limited time giveaway)

Day 3 Bonus - Exciting news and a free pattern!

Begining in 2020 you'll notice that the monthly coupon code for a free pattern is expanding to include a few more select brands! Yay! We're excited to announce the first one, 123 Mulberry Street! As an added bonus, we are now going to include the 123 Mulberry Street Gotchies pattern for 18-inch dolls as a permanently free bonus for Sewing With Cinnamon members!

Day 4 Bonus: Receive early bird access to free patterns throughout the year, before they go up for sale on Pixie Faire!

In December (the current SWC month), we featured the Thimbles and Acorns Silk Road Dress pattern as the focus of our monthly topic. The pattern is available exclusively to SWC members for free, before it is released to the general public in 2020. This is an additional bonus, on top of the monthly coupon code for one free pattern! We've seen such a great response to this, we plan to do this several times in 2020 as well! Join today and get access to this bonus while it's still available for members to download!

Day 8 Bonus:  Another exciting brand added to the Sewing With Cinnamon Monthly Coupon code!

We mentioned that beginning in 2020 you'll notice that the monthly coupon code for a free pattern is expanding to include a few more select brands! Yay! Day 9 Bonus: Couture Sewing Academy Limited time bonus!

We're adding the full Couture Sewing Academy course as a free bonus for new and existing Sewing With Cinnamon members. This course will be available for a limited time (through January 10th). Couture is a wild and wonderful world of amazing techniques, beautiful fabrics, and luxuriously finished garments. Nothing can compare to holding a really beautifully constructed piece of clothing in your hands! Given the small scale of doll clothing, sewing doll couture specifically is an amazing canvas for these techniques and provides a unique opportunity to workshop new methods and produce amazing art.

Day 10 Bonus: Get your fabrics organized with our custom Fabric Swatch Book PDF download!

Got Fabric? Here's a fun idea to make your own swatch book for future use. Get the download from the SWC Bonus section. Use it to catalog "Where to buy" fabrics as well as a "touch and feel" tool for identifying fabric types. This will help when ordering online : I've made mine from a Mood Swatch club subscription, but you can also make one using the fabrics you already have on hand.

Day 11 Bonus: Brand new pattern from a new brand and category of patterns coming to Pixie Faire!

Today we're excited to announce an adorable new brand and category of patterns coming to Pixie Faire! Cute Felt Patterns is a darling set of 4" - 7" plush animals and dolls, all made in felt, and all hand sewn! They are absolutely the cutest! Watch for these to come to the site very soon! But today, Sewing With Cinnamon members will get one free! Meet Dotty! Isn't she the cutest! Make a cute little doll for your American Girl doll to carry around! Find this new free member bonus in the Sewing With Cinnamon bonuses section.

Day 12 Bonus - Sewing Project Planner!

Time to start planning out your projects for the year, we've got you covered with a free PDF download to print out and use to keep your projects organized! Grab your free bonus download over in the Sewing With Cinnamon Bonuses section!

Just love your site, especially when you had Freeby Fridays [ending last year – boo hoo]. It was such a great idea for us oldsters and I’m sure your designers make money by selling their accessories to match. I watch your site and use other pattern companies to accommodate the styles that I love. I have been sewing for over 60 years and love the patterns from the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, although some of your modern ones are just a great! Thank you for your great site and please think about bringing back your Freeby Friday. It was so much fun to guess if the pattern would be for tops, dresses, pants, skirts, crochet or knitting. God bless.

This household is Bitty Baby all the way, at least for a few more years. Clothes easy enough for a five year old to get on and off and simple enough to sew for this grandma. But trendy. I would love to see more modern day patterns, including knitt, crochet and fabric, at Pixie Faire for Mary Hoyer Dolls. She is a lovely fashion 13 inch doll manufactured by Ideal in the early 1900s, 1937-1946 they made a 14 inch all composition Doll, then in 1946-1950s a 14 inch hard plastic doll, in 1957 a 10 1/2 inch Doll Marked Uneeda. In 1958 a 10 inch Doll marked AE toddler Doll. There are a few others in the 1960s, finally in 1991 a 13 1/2 inch Doll marked a Mary Hoyer. I love the little darling dolls, but she is more girlish then Mary Hoyer Dolls. I have a 14 inch plastic Mary Hoyer Doll that I would love to make a wardrobe for. I would love to see a full length lined fur coat pattern offered at Pixie Faire for an 18" doll type. I buy 18" dolls and sew clothes for them and donate them to the local women’s shelter for Christmas. I try to include one very fancy outfit and would love to make a lined fur coat.

Is there honestly any pattern or style that’s NOT already available at Pixie Fiaire? You offer such a wonderful selection of patterns already that I’ve always been able to find whatever I’m looking for. I just wish they weren’t so expensive, especially since I have to print it myself.
