What's the Design Academy - you might ask... The Design Academy is our 12 part training program that gives you in-depth training on how to design high-quality clothing items specifically at the smaller doll scale. Cinnamon, the lead designer for Liberty Jane Clothing, has spent years perfecting the art of doll clothes design, focusing on an intense level of detail, and considers every piece created - a piece of art! The 140-page course ebook covers the 12 principles of design, most are a part of every design concept (proportion, scale, fabric, color, sewing technique, originality); while a few are meant as an extra element to specific designs (distressing/embellishments, minimalism, homage, repetition). Each chapter in the book is accompanied by a video where Cinnamon, Karin, and Melinda share their thoughts on the topic and encourage you to practice the element discussed through a hands-on homework assignment.

I’d love to see Pixie Faire offer more free shoe patterns for the 18" doll.
I would love to see Pixie Faire design some very easy patterns so my 8 year old granddaughter could sew for her AG doll. She desperately would like to learn how to sew this Christmas. I sew for her doll, but she would like to. She is our fashionista! Thank you.
I’d like to see Pixie Faire offer more for slim dolls like Kidz’n Cats and Journey Girls
I would love to see Pixie Faire offer more bundles. For example, a basics bundle for each doll size with leggings, a tshirt and basic dress pattern. Or a historical bundle which could include a period dress and accessories. Maybe even a bundle across different designers.
I’d like to see Pixie Faire offer more pantsuits patterns for barbie dolls! I love those dolls, me and my sister play with them all the time. Thanks for offering this contest!
