Welcome to Day 2 of our 12 Days Of Christmas celebration! Today we are giving away 2 tickets to the February 2018 Design Academy Class (valued at $79)! Yes, that's right - 2 Winners! We've just opened enrollment for the upcoming February 2018 session of this super fun, in-depth, online design course and wanted to kick it off with this fun giveaway opportunity!
Giveaway Update: Congratulations to Sally and Mary Kay! You've each won a ticket to the February Design Academy and have been contacted through email.
What's the Design Academy - you might ask... The Design Academy is our 12 part training program that gives you in-depth training on how to design high-quality clothing items specifically at the smaller doll scale. Cinnamon, the lead designer for Liberty Jane Clothing, has spent years perfecting the art of doll clothes design, focusing on an intense level of detail, and considers every piece created - a piece of art! The 140-page course ebook covers the 12 principles of design, most are a part of every design concept (proportion, scale, fabric, color, sewing technique, originality); while a few are meant as an extra element to specific designs (distressing/embellishments, minimalism, homage, repetition). Each chapter in the book is accompanied by a video where Cinnamon, Karin, and Melinda share their thoughts on the topic and encourage you to practice the element discussed through a hands-on homework assignment.
If you love to sew and really want to take your craft to the next level, this course is for you! Study the elements and learn to apply them to your work so that you can stand out in the crowd! We hope to see you there...
(Note - if you purchase the course and happen to be selected as one of the two winners, we'll be happy to credit your purchase or apply it to the March 2018 Pattern Academy!)

I’d love to see Pixie Faire offer more furniture patterns for 18“ AG type dolls.
I would love very to see Pixie Faire offer Wellie Wisher and big girl matching patterns.
I’d LOVE to see Pixie Faire offer Inuit (Eskimo) clothing..ie Amauti – special parka with big hood to carry babies; …curved bottom reg parka sometimes called an “overlander” for the 18" dolls. The Inuit along with the Natives were a important part of Canadian history .
All parkas were decorated, mens and womens, providing an opportunity to introduce various techniques to your community, along with use of faux fur, heavy cotton. Mukluks (boots) and mitts with braided strings (worn by all to ensure they never lost their mitts) also provide side projects.
Disney Animator Dolls. I know you do have some patterns for them but more please …The dolls don’t get played with because they have no clothes … Thank you.
I’d love to see you offer ‘sisters’ size patterns. Patterns that include sizes for both traditional 18" American Girl dolls and Welliewishers 14.5" dolls
