Don’t skip the reading the instructions. It is very tempting to just jump into a new pattern without reading the instructions firs.
My favorite tip or sewing trick is to keep my pattern notions and fabric for the project together in a small bin If it’s a couple months before I can do the project the items don’t get lost or used for something else
My favorite tip or trick is to have a small piece of fabric to sew off on to. This is a quilting trick that allows you to easily hold on the treads as you start to sew, then when you are done sewing you run the small piece of fabric through again and you are ready for the next time you sew.
My favorite sewing tip is to backstitch a few stitches at the beginning and ending of each seam that I sew.
