My tip is to really look at clothing you might be donating. I recycle a lot into doll clothes, since I give my doll clothes away, it is a money saver and produces interesting results. I get a lot of joy doing this!
My favorite trick is to use the fringe looking selvage when sewing costumes and some outfits.

My favorite sewing tip is having my seam ripper beside me at all times. If I don’t like how it looks, it’s gets redone with “no regrets”! My daughter had a 3’ poster of this motto and it hangs above my sewing table!

I was showing my granddaughter today how to hold the thread near the needle so that it doesn’t pull out of the eye of the needle when she was sewing on a button for her doll poncho.
