My most useful trick is to use freezer paper for transferring patterns to fabric. Temporarily fusing it to fabric and cutting around it is so helpful with napped fabric and small fabric pieces.

My favourite tip is to always use an iron as you sew. It makes everything look better and makes it easier to match up seams.
My favorite sewing tip or trick is to use old clothes for fabric. I make some really unique and cute doll clothes. Many times they sell faster than doll clothes made from new fabric. I am always sure to state the item is made from recycled fabric in the listing.
My favorite sewing tip or trick is when sewing a finished edge such as a pillowcase or a curtain, where you have a pocket of fabric for your hem, fold a little over first and sew a hem close to the edge, then turn the whole project inside-out and sew the hem, then turn it right-side-out again. That way, you’ve concealed the stitching and raw edge inside the project.
