My favorite tip is to always use quality thread and needles.
My tip is one I learned this year when I bought some Velcro the seller let me in on a tip that she uses for sewing it in doll clothes and that is to use some wash-a-way wonder tape. It hold it without pins and when you are done you just wash the item and it is gone, so much easier on your hands sewing it on the machine. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!
My favorite sewing tip is to read through the entire pattern at least once before getting started so you don’t end up with a surprise.
My favorite sewing tip or trick is using blue or green painters tape to keep my material straight on the sewing machine.
I use Superior Threads poly cones of 60-wt “bottom line” in light, medium and dark gray. It is very strong and keeps the bobbin from running out quickly. The seams are not bulky. Only a few projects will need a different color or weight.
