My favorite sewing trick is to sew shankless buttons on by machine by dropping the feed dogs and using a zigzag stitch.
My favorite sewing tip or trick is to sew with your Daughter or Grand-Daughter for best experience ever.
Take your time. When you try to rush a project, mistakes get made. Then you gotta rip out the stitches and try to start again.
Read the back of the pattern envelope to make sure you have everything that you need to make the outfit. (A 4-H tip)
My favorite sewing tip or trick is to use Velcro CLOSURES when possible. I am not very good with zippers or small button holes.
