Sooo many tips….. one of my favorites is to re-purpose. Almost everything can be used in making doll items. Shop thrift store for used kids clothing / uniforms and use them to make clothes. Everyday items around the house can be used for doll furniture/ accessories etc.
My favorite tip is to always make notes in a pattern, especially when I do something wrong. My notes help keep me from making the same mistake the next time around!

“My favorite sewing tip or trick is to practice a line or two on scrap fabric before starting your project to make sure the tension, etc is working properly. That way you don’t mess up your project fabric which may be an expensive fabric.
