My favorite trick is to use Crayola washable markers for any marking that needs to be done. The marks wash out even after many days and even after being ironed. The markers cost much less than markers sold in fabric stores. As with any new technique, test it out on scrap fabric first.

My favorite sewing tip is when making small items like doll clothes use a smaller iron, like a travel iron, they get into the small curves and corners easier

My favorite sewing tip or trick is to have everything ready before I start so I can enjoy my time sewing.

My favorite sewing tip or trick is to keep a hot iron handy for ironing seams as I go.

My favorite sewing trick is using a small fork (one that came with an individual slice of cake from Wal-mart) to make perfect pleat folds in doll skirts and dresses. Don’t have to pin in place just fold the fabric with the fork as I am sewing!
