My favorite sewing tip is to use adult tee shirts for doll clothes. Use the neck band for the collar and the bottom hems of the tee for the bottoms of the shirt and sleeves. Looks much more finished.
My advice is to invest in good quality equipment! Whether fabric or sewing machine .
My favorite sewing tip is to always use tissue paper under knit and delicate fabrics when pinning and sewing.
My favorite sewing tip is have extra scissors and pins on ironing board. This is essential for me sewing on boat where my board is around the corner.
My tip is to press seams as you sew.
