For me my favorite sewing tip is to always clean, oil and put a new sewing needle in the machine before every project. It protects the machine and you never damage you fabric with blunt needles. Happy sewing.
My favorite sewing tip is to use wonder tape to hold zippers in place to sew.
My favorite sewing tip is to zigzag over a straight stitch to avoid fabric unraveling.
My favorite tip is to cut the Velcro in half when sewing doll clothes.
My favorite sewing tip: instead of seeing two rows of long stitches when gathering, is to see one row of a large zigzag stitch over a length of pearl cotton crochet thread. You must be careful not to catch the cotton thread in the zigzag stitch. Pull the cotton thread to gather and when complete just pull the pearl thread out.
