My favorite sewing tip is using tear away stabilizer when sewing with knits. It allows me to start a seam without the fabric being grabbed by the feed dogs and keeps the fabric from stretching out. The stabilizer tears away easily when done.
My favorite tip is too usea different color thread on the bobbin when gathering skirts it’s easy to see which thread to pull
My favorite sewing tip is cover the paper pattern with tape that I use a lot.

My tip – follow the instructions to a T the first time you make something. Don’t go off on your own until you know how the garment fits together. This will save a lot of frustration!
