My favorite sewing tip or trick is to make sure you measure each doll’s body. Many times I have failed to do so because, I am in a hurry to make an outfit for my doll and boy does it cost me time and I have to go buy more material to remake the outfit again. It doesn’t matter if your doll is from the same artist for example just because you buy an American doll you think that the same outfit will fit, it doesn’t LOL. Or the same Pixie doll it doesn’t. Boy! To same time I measure my doll and safe her measurements in a folder and name the doll and insert her picture in the folder with her measurements. Remember it will safe time, money, and headaches. Your doll will be as happy as you are when she wears her new outfit:)
My favourite sewing tip is to iron fabric, before, during, and after sewing. It makes things so much neater and easier to work with.
My tip is to immediately put your sewing notions, hoops, fabrics etc. back in their keeper. Then you won’t spend so much time looking for them when you need them.
My favorite sewing tip is to invest in a fasturn tool. You will never regret it. The time saved plus the ease in turning any fabric to the right side is amazing and so easy.
Favorite tip..not sure is a Tip… but I always get all necessary things for the Project at hand…& be all set. (I do the same with cooking..get all ingredients out & ready to proceed)
