My favorite sewing tip or trick when sewing very small pieces like collars or gloves is not cut out the pattern pieces first. I trace the pattern onto oversized square pieces of fabric, sew following line using desired seam allowance, and then cut out the item.
My favorite sewing tip is using chopsticks for turning points in collars and trimming the seams with a pinking shears.
My favorite sewing tip or trick is to use glue sticks! It really helps keep stretchy fabric in place!
My favorite sewing tip is to start each sewing project with a clean sewing area and a clean machine.
Always pin everything first.
