My favorite fabric to sew with is fur or plush fleece. I love making toys and creating unique creatures. That said I also find myself using a lot of knit to dress these interesting creatures. These fabrics hold up well and look great.
My favourite fabric to sew is stretch. Any stretch, DTY, ITY, double brushed, liverpool and more!
My favorite fabric to use is linen. It is easy to handle.

Favorite fabric – Well – I have quite a large collection of cotton quilting fabric so I should select from that stash first. I have no problems sewing with knits, but small prints are few and far between. I love woven plaids (verses off-grain printed), but for some strange reason most available are very light weight. Love corduroys for jumpers, pants, coats, but again, hard to find small prints and narrow wales. Would love to make a “birthday party dress” out of the real old-fashioned (flocked) swiss polka-dot.
My favorite fabric to sew with is cotton. It comes in such a wide variety of colors and prints. However, the reason I name it as my favorite is that it keeps my sewing machine happy and unproblematical!
