My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finding the time. I am trying to retire but still working and caring for grandchildren
Since making sewing and needlework projects for my granddaughters is one of my favorite hobbies, my biggest sewing, knitting, or crocheting challenge is finding the right pattern and/or fabric that would excite them the most. I find if I include them in the decision-making, they love the finished project even more!
My biggest challenge is finding the time!!!
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finding the time now that I’m RETIRED and have a lot of time! Yes, you read that right. When I worked I could get everything done with plenty of time for “sewing, knitting, or crochet,” and keep the house spotless, etc., with time to even be bored. But ever since I’ve retired, I can’t get anything done, the day goes by in lightning speeding – I don’t even have a chance to enjoy it. So do the weeks, it seem like everyday when I wake up, I’m saying to my husband, “How can it be Friday again, it seems like everyday it’s Friday, did they stop making weeks?” Does anyone else who is retired have this problem, I hope it’s just temporary, before my house gets any worse and I forget how to do my hobbies which I use to excel in (if I do say myself).
