The darling little pajamas are from Shari, the designer behind the Thimbles and Acorns brand, as the prototype cover piece for the 14.5" Union Suit pattern - too cute! We've completed this set with a brand new 14.5" Welliewishers Emerson doll!

My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)

I use a very old Bernina Record that I inherited from my grandma. The thing I like most about it is that Bernina is a reliable brand and there’s a repair shop which specializes in Berninas near my apartment. Plus, you can’t argue with a free sewing machine.
I use lots of machines but so far my favorite that we have is our sing heavy duty machines. I love that I can sew through most materials.
I use a Husqvarna sewing machine and I love it as I can readily sew on all types of fabric and I never have to threaten to throw it out the window!
I use a Janome sewing machine. The thing I like most about it is all the stitches available. I also like the options of feet that make sewing easy.
