I love sewing and crocheting for dolls, and my grandkids, nieces and nephews! Anyway it is sometimes hard to find small items sp I love shopping on Pixie Faire!
I would love to sign up for Sewing With Cinnamon, but with my schedule I don’t know when I’d be able to watch. Is it available at any time or just when you are on?
I shop for material at JoAnn Fabric and Walmart, but would like to start exploring Hobby Lobby.
I’ve just started sewing for my granddaughter and great nieces and I’m happy to see so many suggestions here for finding supplies.
I have the hardest time finding the perfect tiny print fabrics for my doll skirts and dresses. I can usually find a tiny flower print, but Christmas, 7/4 and Halloween fabrics in my local stores tend to have small prints in a scale that is just a bit too large for the dainty look I prefer.
I shop for doll material at local quilt shops, WalMart, JoAnn Fabrics, or any place that has what I may need. If I can’t find exactly what I need, I talk with my Sister, Mother, Grandmother, and Mother-in-Law for advice and can usually improvise a solution. These ladies can sew very well and are amazing.
