I first heard about Pixie Faire from a Yahoo group(how’s that for old??) called AGBuddies.
We had sew-alongs and exchanges and just supported(enabled!) each other in out collecting. It was great fun. Now, it’s been moved to FB, and there’s a lot less chatter.

I first heard about Pixie Faire when I was looking for patterns for my 18" Madam Alexander doll. I did an internet search and Liberty Jane popped up. I was unaware till then that such a site even existed. Now I have boxes of Pixie Faire patterns for my 18" doll, my four H4H dolls, and several other dolls who fit the size requirements of the patterns if not the particular type of doll (a little tweeking here and there). Still working on getting them all made up.

I first learned about Pixie Faire when my little 4 year old granddaughter asked me to make her American Girl Doll “a dress” for her birthday (when she was turning 5). I knew I could handle “a dress” as I have been sewing for 60 years. But I thought she needed some shoes too. Upon researching the Internet I found Pixie Faire sells the items needed to make shoes. The rest is history. I’ve used my imagination to make shoes, sanders and slippers. So much fun!!!

I first heard about Pixie Faire when I was doing a search for doll clothes for my Granddaughters 18 inch My Life As doll. I wanted to make some because the clothes they had in the stores were cheaply made and too expensive for quality. She loves everything I have made for her and she also wants to learn to sew when she gets a little older. She’s 5 years old.

I didn’t hear about Pixie Faire per say. Back in I think 2009 I found a Web site for Liberty Jane when I did a search for 18" doll patterns online. Because my granddaughters were getting American Girl dolls and I just couldn’t afford the American Girl doll outfits for 2 girls at that time. I have been very grateful for the progressive pace of Library Jane to Pixie Faire and there generosity.
