I was searching for free doll clothes patterns. I became intrigued when I heard of the mission to Africa they are associated with. I have long known of the needs of that area, and am always intrigued with missions that use innovative good sense to help, that does not harm the culture.
I first heard about Pixie Faire from web browsing on doll patterns
I heard about Pixie Faire through AGIG. Other seamstresses were using the patterns and someone asked in the comments where they got the pattern and they answered Pixie Faire.
I heard about Pixie Faire on a blog for children’s patterns that said there were photos on a site called PinInterest… it took me a while to discover it was Pinterest. From there I found Pixie Faire and couldn’t believe what a great site it was for not just patterns but easier ways to sew doll clothing.
I am not sure where I first heard of Pixie Faire/Liberty Jane doll clothes patterns, I probably did an internet search for doll clothes I have been sewing doll clothes for a long time (Barbie was new) but My granddaughters now have American Girl dolls.
