These outfits are all designed with a bit of vintage flair for the modern day doll character and were made as prototype pieces for the cover and example images featured in the doll clothes sewing patterns.

My New Years Plans include making more doll clothes and learning different techniques including embellishing the outfits. Pixie Faire has so many possibilities with their variety of patterns and their continued tips they offer throughout the year. I want to thank everyone at Pixie Faire and all the designers for a year filled with wonderful ideas and patterns. May 2018 continue with the progress and prosper.
About four weeks ago I discovered a site called Stitchin for Kids. This group seeks people who will make clothing for Hearts for Hearts dolls. Twice a year dolls and clothing are taken to a hospice for children and given to children there. Beginning this year most of the sewing I do will go to this group to help children who really need the help.

My New Years plans include organizing my doll collection to begin a big for sale purge (time to get rid of duplicates!) and spending the night with friends at a cocktail and fondue party at their house! Happy New Year everyone!
