My husband and I plan on eating out and going to a movie. This has been a tradition that we started after we were married. After 43 years, we will probably not do the midnight movie, but take in an earlier show. Also, temps around here are 40 degrees below normal. High today 14 low 2 with lower windchills. About 30 degrees lower than last year. We’d rather be warm at home when the ball drops.
My New Years plans include hosting an impromptu party for my very large extended family. My 3 1/2 year old had to get stitches the day after Christmas and missed out on the family day after Christmas party. He wanted to have another party since he missed it, so perhaps we are starting a new tradition of hosting New Years Eve.
My New Years Plans include fun appetizers, a few party supplies for the kids and traditional oyster stew with our kids.
My New Years Plan include includes spending time with my kids.
My New Year’s Eve plans are to host a small (20 people) game playing party. We will have tables set up to play Firehouse (a card game), Farkle (a dice game), Mexican Train (dominoes) and Yahtzee. Of course there will be lots of food as well as egg nog and champagne for toasting at midnight.
