My New Years plans include spending a little alone time thanking God for a blessed 2017, And a blessed New Year for 2018 for all and our country. Also spending time with family and friends.
My New year’s plan is to get better organized so that I can spend more time sewing and crafting.

My New Years plans include playing Monopoly with my family after making and eating homemade Chinese Food.
My New Year’s Eve plans will be different this year. Usually my friends and I meet for lunch to celebrate Joyce’s birthday, but she passed away in April, so today I took flowers to her in the cemetery. Tomorrow I will go to Sunday School (I teach 3rd grade) and church, as usual, and my husband and I will have dinner and a quiet afternoon at home, as usual. We’ll go to evening service at church, as usual. Then we’ll come home and he’ll watch some TV, I will probably sew for a little while, and then get on the computer. At midnight, if he’s still awake (LOL), we’ll probably have a special snack and maybe some Vernor’s Ginger Ale (me) or Mountain Dew (him) to toast the new year.
New Year’s Day will be similarly quiet, I should imagine, unless we decide to go somewhere for a little outing. He’s almost 85 and I’m almost 72 (both January), and he’s not able to do a lot any more, and we’ve never gone for partying, so we’re content doing “little” things. I’m thankful he’s still around—I’ve almost lost him to serious medical issues twice in the last few years—so I’m okay with that.
