Happy New Year! Church and family time today, and with friends this evening. Blessings to all!
My plans are to stay home and keep warm(it’s below zero here before wind chill temps) and read and sew doll clothes.
My New Years plans include…cake and presents! I was very blessed (nine years ago today) with the birth of a very special (autistic) baby boy. So every year, when everyone else is ringing in the New Year, I get to (also) celebrate my sweet boy being another year older.
If I win these, they’ll actually be going to my sweet niece, the youngest child (and only girl) of my older sister, whom I love making doll clothes for. Coincidentally, my sister’s firstborn son (she has three children) was ALSO born on New Year’s Eve, 5 year before my son was. So it’s been tradition in our family to have a birthday cake on NYE for the last…oh, 14 years, lol.
New Year’s eve used to be my favorite day to go out and celebrate when I was younger. Now I am a mom of 3 girls and will be celebrating with them. I wouldn’t have it any other way! Happy and Prosperous New Year!!!
My New Year’s plans are to stay home and watch movies with my family.
