Our New Year’s plans are pretty simple. We just returned from enjoying ‘ole bole’ (Dutch donuts) with friends on a nearby farm, a New Year’s tradition. As the weather is -38C and a foot of new snow, that’s it for us! Happy New Year everyone.

My New Years Plans include cooking cabbage and black eyed peas. Then sewing all day. I had an aunt that said whatever you do on New Years day is what you will do the rest of the year. So I have remembered this through the years and I sew.
