My siblings and their spouses and I will be meeting for our 2nd annual lunch on New Year’s Eve. Our youngest brother died very unexpectedly in July 2016…..so we decided to do this just for the “adults”. Of course we have a monthly dinner that includes all 20+ extended family throughout the year.

My New Year’s plans are to attend my brother and sister-in-law’s annual New Year’s Eve party which extends into the next day as participants are encouraged to spend the night, especially if they have had ANY alcohol! Of course this then means we have a huge attendance for breakfast New Year’s day, but the New Year has started off with family and friends all together, which means even more as we all are getting up in age and have lost many of our former attendees to the inevitable!!
