Welcome to DAY 7 of our 12 Days if Christmas celebration!

For our 7th Day Of Christmas giveaway, we are doing a GIVEAWAY of one $100 A Girl For All Time eGift Card to one lucky winner. The gift card can be used towards any item available on the A Girl For All Time website! Woot, Woot!

More about A Girl For All Time:  A Girl For All Time® dolls are 16-inch dolls who represent fictional British historical characters as well as modern English girls, and even a new boy doll named Max. Dolls from the Your Historical Girl™ collection are the perfect choice for those interested in English history, as each doll is a member of the same ancestral line through the generations. Each doll’s accompanying book explores their own search to connect with the history of their ancestors as well as depicting life in their own time period. AGAT also produces a collection of contemporary dolls in their Your Modern Girl™ line.

Check out our full A Girl For Time Doll Reveiw.

Check out our collection of patterns designed especially for A Girl For All Time dolls.

My favorite era of clothing and fashion is hard to nail down, as I love so much from so many different eras and for different reasons. I love the elegance of Fortuny’s Peplos gowns from the early 20th century, the quirky but brilliant construction of Willa Kim/Barbara Matera’s salad dresses from the 1980s, and the simple, practical nature of Iron Age and Colonial era everyday clothes. As far as patterns go, I’d love to see a pattern for costumes from the Ottoman Empire.

My favorite era of clothing and fashion is…..Wow tough answer. I love all the historical styles from Medieval to Edwardian. The fabrics, laces, flounces, ribbons, bows, jewels, oh my. However, a style that I would love to see some back would be Art deco, 40’s to 50"s. Very elegant and dignified.. I will never forget this royal blue satin dress of my mothers from the 50"s…I loved that dress! umm maybe I should design a doll pattern?

My favorite era of clothing is 1940’s and 50’s. Since you have a pretty wide assortment of 1950’s outfits and dresses, what I’d love to see more patterns for is the 1940’s dresses and outfits for Clementine, AGAT. Also, I have to say yes to someone else’s suggestion for a coat, woolen leggings and hat set in the 40’s-50’s style—I wore them too! More patterns for AGAT in general. Thank you for asking!

My favorite era of clothing and fashion is just about anything historical, I like just about all time periods, vintage of 1940-50. I would like to see more patterns for boys clothes, especially for the A Girl for All Times size dolls & for the 14 to 14-1/2" size as I converted a AGAT into a boy and a RRGFF Sara into a boy. Anything in your 18" boy historical or vintage series of patterns resized into 14-16" size patterns would be great.
