We are working hard on the content for our latest class - The Couture Sewing Academy! It goes "live" on April 1st, (no joke). So to help launch it with some fun and enthusiasm we thought we'd do a comment contest.

“I want to learn couture techniques so I can take my doll and human clothes to the next level. I have been sewing for over 45 years but have never needed to go to that level even though I sew professionally. It’s time I moved left the box.
I would love to learn couture techniques so I can teach my granddaughter. My grandmother passed away before she finished teaching me, she was amazing. My granddaughter is already on her way to be a great designer and sewer, she does have the best dressed dolls, ready to take it up a notch. It would mean more time spent with her, couldn’t ask for more.
I want to learn couture sewing tehniques so that I can take my handwork to the next level.
I would like to learn couture sewing techniques to bring my sewing to a whole new level. I’ve invested in many how-to books, inspected and deconstructed ready-made clothing, and checked out what few books on the subject I could find at the library. I’m so ready to participate in a course that will help me to overcome my anxiety, better myself and become a more proficient seamstress.
I believe a person is never to old to learn new things so even as a middle-aged woman I enjoy working to improve my skills. Besides, doll clothes are fun to make!
