We are working hard on the content for our latest class - The Couture Sewing Academy! It goes "live" on April 1st, (no joke). So to help launch it with some fun and enthusiasm we thought we'd do a comment contest.

I want to learn couture techniques so that I can design and sell better clothing for dolls and girls.
I want to learn couture techniques so I can improve my everyday sewing and raise it up a level. I want to be able to create more than just the vanilla tops, bottoms, and dresses. I have already learned so much from your patterns and can’t wait to see what’s next. You make sewing so exciting.
I’d like to learn couture techniques so I can learn new skills. I like all types of sewing, including sewing my own clothes, sewing theater costumes, and now sewing doll clothes. My daughter is urging me to learn to make tutus. It’s amazing how many techniques can sort of “cross-pollinate” widely varied areas of the sewing world.
I want to spark up my sewing techniques to sew for my grandaughter and my dolls. I am also thinking it would help me with alterations that people beg me to do. I don’t feel I have enough training with the finer silks and slippery fabrics. I spent 3 days in tears trying to hem a very cheaply made wedding dress for my soon to be sister in law that was 3 layers with a mermaid bottom. I swore I would never say yes again! On the brighter side when I took it to the cleaners the woman couldn’t believe I hemmed it.I just started making doll clothes again with your patterns and I have to say they are AWESOME! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to learn more.
I want to learn couture sewing techniques so I can raise the level of the doll clothing I make and sell. I want to have unique and interesting items – not the usual stuff that everyone else makes.
