I would love to learn couture techniques to be able to improve my sewing and add extra “wow” to my finished products. I have been sewing for over 40 years and am just starting to build a home-based sewing business. Couture techniques would help to accomplish this goal.
I want to learn couture techniques so I can make beautiful doll clothes. It would help me be a better sewer of everything.
I want to learn couture techniques because, as a self-taught sewer who learned to sew decades ago by reading the instructions that came with dress patterns, I know that it’s all in the details. And, the details transfer to different kinds of sewing: quilting, doll clothes, dog toys, sailboat canvas work, dresses, potholders……
