Hi everyone,
We are working hard on the content for our latest class - The Couture Sewing Academy! It goes "live" on April 1st, (no joke). So to help launch it with some fun and enthusiasm we thought we'd do a comment contest.
Here's What You Do: Just leave a comment as a response to this post and answer the question, "I want to learn couture techniques so I can _______________".
The Prize: We will pick one commenter and they'll get the course for free!
Details & Rules: Contest ends Monday March 30th, 2015 at 12:00 AM (Pacific). Official Rules: No purchase necessary, void where prohibited, contest is open to all states and countries where it is legally permitted.
If you haven't seen our promo video for The Couture Sewing Academy - check it out. We'd love to have you join in the program.

I want to learn couture techniques because it just sounds exciting. I’ve been blessed with a desire and a gift to sew and create and I do it well. I love learning new ways and techniques. My mother and grandmother shared their love of the Lord and their love of sewing and I hold them both so dear. As I’m in my retirement years, I know long sew much for the children but for dolls:) Another ‘hand-me-down’ from mom. I love the Euro designs!!!!!
I want to learn couture techniques to improve my skills and be able to pass them on to my students. You can never learn too much and at 67 I still love to learn new things
I would like to learn couture techniques to continue in my sewing and creating abilities. I love hand work and sewing for my 18 inch dolls is so much fun. Sewing for me is like an extension of my person. I love your business and how it is growing.
I want to learn couture sewing since I am teaching sewing now, but would like to ramp up my skills and know what I am doing has a name!
I used to make clothing for antique reproduction porcelain dolls, but patterns were scant with information. Mostly I just “winged it”
I love making the clothes to donate or gift. Please pick me. I would be a good student and pay attention in class, as well as do all my assignments. Promise
“I want to learn couture techniques so I can learn all that is possible to be able to teach the next generations to create clothing for the future wardrobes of our dolls. Just learning to sew blessed my life, and learning couture techniques will bless the future of doll wardrobes.”
