Couture Sewing Academy Launch Contest

[The contest is over and the winner has been notified]

Hi everyone,

We are working hard on the content for our latest class - The Couture Sewing Academy! It goes "live" on April 1st, (no joke). So to help launch it with some fun and enthusiasm we thought we'd do a comment contest.

Here's What You Do: Just leave a comment as a response to this post and answer the question, "I want to learn couture techniques so I can _______________".

The Prize: We will pick one commenter and they'll get the course for free!

Details & Rules: Contest ends Monday March 30th, 2015 at 12:00 AM (Pacific). Official Rules: No purchase necessary, void where prohibited, contest is open to all states and countries where it is legally permitted.

If you haven't seen our promo video for The Couture Sewing Academy - check it out. We'd love to have you join in the program.

I would like to learn couture techniques, so these 80-year-old hands can dress the dolls of my four g-granddaughters, and they will always have something to remember me by.

I want to learn couture techniques so I can make more creative, one of a kind outfits. I have sewn a variety of clothes for people and dolls always with specific instructions. Hopefully this will help me to step into the more creative side of crafting clothes.

I would like to learn more about couture techniques and other French words to improve my sewing of doll clothes to "heirloom’ quality. No grandchildren yet, but I have my (sewing & knitting) fingers crossed. I also believe in making my own luck, so I have a “gramma’s hope chest” where I put away any baby items I have made while the eyes and fingers still have it (don’t tell my grown up children about this :-) Meanwhile, my niece’s AG dolls are very well dressed with the clothes I sewed for them, but being the fashionistas that they are, they look forward to MORE!!!! C’est la vie, c’est la guerre, c’est la pommes de terre (the only other French words I know) Thanks!

I want to learn couture techniques so I can keep up with my son’s ever-changing requests for clothes for his boy dolls. Everything is girls and there just aren’t enough choices for the boys!

I would love to learn techniques that take my designs and creations to the next level!!
