We are working hard on the content for our latest class - The Couture Sewing Academy! It goes "live" on April 1st, (no joke). So to help launch it with some fun and enthusiasm we thought we'd do a comment contest.

I would like to take this couture sewing academy class to enhance my skills in order to apply these new skills to further my creative abilities. In addition, my goal is to eventually teach others, providing them more than just the basics in sewing as they improve their own skills.
I want to learn couture techniques to take my sewing to the next level. I have sewn for years and consider my skills good. I want to learn these couture techniques to be able to put that wow into my doll sewing. There is nothing like the satisfaction of seeing a young girl’s face light up when they see a "Cinderella " type of dress for her doll. I want to see that face on my grand daughter!
I want to learn couture techniques because I know just the basics and would love to improve my sewing abilities.
