We are working hard on the content for our latest class - The Couture Sewing Academy! It goes "live" on April 1st, (no joke). So to help launch it with some fun and enthusiasm we thought we'd do a comment contest.

I want to learn couture techniques so that I can make some lovely sewn well doll clothes for my granddaughter’s dolls. Thank you very much for your free class offer. I am so glad I found your site a couple of years ago.
I want to learn couture techniques because I love learning new techniques.
I want to learn couture techniques so I can feel that I live up to my “I’ve been sewing for 40 years.” I may have been sewing that long but I don’t know nearly all the things that I should know for having sewn that long. I want to ramp up my doll sewing so I’ll feel that people other than kids would be interested in my doll clothes.
I would love to learn couture techniques to expand my knowledge and skills for making historically accurate doll clothing for my granddaughters’ American Girl dolls. After a trip to Williamsburg, VA, having historically accurate clothing became very important…..especially the under garments!
