San Remo Dress For 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl: This cute dress designed to fit an American Girl Doll was part of the Liberty Jane Spring 2010 International Collection and is now available to download as a pdf pattern. The San Remo strapless dress is designed to fit over a tank or tee but also looks cute on it’s own! This fully lined design is easy to sew and works with a variety of woven fabrics! The example featured is a cotton chambray print the dress would also look cute in a bright spring floral.
The Sheath Dress For 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl: Featured in the Liberty Jane Fall 2012 Tokyo Libby Outfit: Snow Club - This great Sheath Dress is a must-have in every dolls fashionable wardrobe. The fitted waist, fully lined dress is super versatile; choose a traditional fabric for the classic look or be a bit bolder in your fabric choice and pair it with spats to give it that trendy, Tokyo Libby Steampunk Harajuku look! Spats (shortened word from spatterdashes) are a cassic footwear accessory designed to be worn over a pair of flats or basic shoe. They were originally worn in the late 19 to early 20th century and have since become a very popular item in the modern day Steampunk look.
The New Girl Dress For 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl: The Melody Valerie Couture new girl dress PDF pattern is our take on the quandary of the new girl. It’s demure, a little old-fashioned – but it offers fabulous design possibilities, like the flame appliques on the skirt, the three small mismatched buttons marching down the front, and the little bits of topstitching that waltz across the dress. This lined dress has darted raglan sleeves, dramatic appliques on the skirt, just the right amount of contrast on the fully lined bodice. It closes up the back with invisible zipper nad features bias facings on the sleeves. It is designed to be made from rayon, wool flannel, lightweight suiting material, or lightweight sateen fabrics. Standard poly or rayon blend lining; sheer or lightweight accents.
The Check Dress For 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl: She was all set to leave for the day - but I made her run through the list one last time anyway. Wallet - check. Phone - check. Library books - check. Good attitude - check. Fabulously smashing frock -check? - check! Yes, that was the works. Beaming a smile, she turned and skipped out the door, into the noise of the city. Treat your 18” doll to this girly, yet elegant, frock - perfect for running errands around town or studying at the library. The unique design lines and extreme dropped waist combine beautifully with the short skirt, and tiny pleats in the sleeve cap add a vintage touch. The “Check” PDF Pattern works best when made from lightweight cotton shirting, chambray, or lawn; the Fall 2012 collection original was made from silk dupioni. For lining, any lightweight cotton or poly lining will work nicely - or turn up the glamour and use silk!

New girl dress gets my vote. It will look good in my 18 inch Madame Alexander doll since it has a shoulder plate.
All are so pretty it’s so hard to decide. The ruffled dress from earlier this week can be used for a sheath dress, minus those adorable spats. I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeely like the new girl dress simply because it is so different, awesome! The check! dress is somewhat like the yacht club dress and the other low waist dress offered in the past, so l guess my vote is for the new girl dress. Thank you so much for offering these wonderful patterns!
I voted Sheath because it has shoes.
I voted for New Girl pattern. Looks like it would be challenging but interesting to make. Thank you for Freebie Friday! Every pattern is great!
Love the New Girl best- very unique
