Hi everyone,
On Friday (May 1st, 2015) we'll have a special DOUBLE Freebie Friday offer! It's summertime fun on Pixie Faire! Here are the details,
First, we are thrilled to announce the launch of a new furniture focused brand by Kristin Rutten the designer behind Matilda's Closet. Many of you have admired the doll sized furniture you've seen in stores and online and now you'll be able to make it! Her new furniture focused brand is AptOne8 and she is launching her first pattern as permanently free!
More About Kristin and AptOne8 (In Her Own Words): "Designing and selling patterns and projects for doll enthusiasts combines several of my interests and talents. It also allows me to pursue another mission important to me – empowering young girls, starting with my own two daughters, to pursue their dreams and become strong, self-confident, successful and happy young women. It’s this goal which guides every pattern and project I design, from the true-to-life doll-sized baseball uniform to the PVC project that encourages you and your daughters to venture into a hardware store (maybe even for the first time) and build something special and unique that fuels the imagination. I hope you enjoy this new pattern!"
More About The Basic Beach Chair Pattern: Your doll will be ready to hit the beach with this quick and easy chair made from PVC pipe! Easy enough for beginners, this PDF project download includes step-by-step photo instructions to help you first build the PVC chair frame using readily available tools, and then stitch up a two-piece, reversible chair seat that slides right onto the frame. You'll also be thrilled to know this new pattern will be permanently free - so be sure to tell a friend, blog about it, and spread the word.
Double Freebie! But wait - this week we are also publishing one of our fun summertime classic patterns as a Freebie as well! Help us decide which one of these fun patterns should be free by voting below. Then come back to Pixie Faire on Friday to see which pattern won and get the free download.

Thanks for the Chair pattern. My grand daughter and grand niece are going to love a chair for their dolls! I was at Habit for Humanity yesterday and they had sections of thin pvc pipe there for very cheap, I’ll have to go back and get some :) oh they have connectors too! just odd bits and pieces left over from people’s projects. Thanks again for all of the great patterns and projects for my doll friends.
Thank you for the lovely little chair pattern. My granddaughter has been asking grandpa if he could make a chair for her doll, and I think this will be a perfect starter. Thank You Pixie Faire, I love all you do!

Love every Liberty Jane pattern, but I only have AGs… so… my choice would have to be Rush Guard Surfer Top and Boy Cut Shorts.
I want to congratulate Kirsten on her new venture and I will be very pleased to make her chair my first self made piece of AG furniture!
I am absolutely thrilled with the new furniture line. I have looked at a few PVC pipe furnishing ideas on the web, but did not know how to go about making anything. I love that you will be teaching us step by step and telling us what supplies we will need.
Congratulations on your new venture, Kristin. I love the chair and will likely make some for my 3 granddaughters in the near future.
As regards the free class, I have already purchased all but the business one.
Congrats to Kirstin Rutten on her new doll furniture adventure—I love her clothing patterns too! Thanks also to Pixie Faire for another great freebie. They’re always appreciated. I chose the BFC INK pattern because I’m trying to get a few patterns for them and also because I already have the Rash Guard pattern. Thanks again!
Thank you for the beach chair, looks like a fun project and I am looking forward to more furniture patterns in the future.
I only have a Maplelea Doll (your AG size) so have to vote for the Rash Guard Surfer top and shorts please. The chair looks like a fun project and I think it’s one I’ll have to get Grandpa interested to doing!
The Rash Guard top and boy shorts please! And thank you for the beach chair! this is wonderful!
Thank you for which ever pattern it turns out to be. I voted for the American girl pattern but, I never know when I may come across one of the other dolls to sew for. Thank you again for you generosity.

I think you’ve found a really needed niche in the market.
