San Remo Dress For 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl: This cute dress designed to fit an American Girl Doll was part of the Liberty Jane Spring 2010 International Collection and is now available to download as a pdf pattern. The San Remo strapless dress is designed to fit over a tank or tee but also looks cute on it’s own! This fully lined design is easy to sew and works with a variety of woven fabrics! The example featured is a cotton chambray print the dress would also look cute in a bright spring floral.
The Salina Dress For 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl: Get the perfect fit every time with this PDF dress pattern for your American Girl Doll! Because of the soft body design, the AG doll can vary in size around the waist and chest. This pattern is designed to pull everything together, Simplicity, style and a gGreat fit! Perfect for Kanani or any AG Doll that is ready look her very best! The dress design has an empire waist, is fully lined and can be made from a variety of fabrics. You can dress it up with delicate or sparkly fabrics and accessories, or keep it casual with solid colors and simple knit fabrics. Layer the dress over a cute tank top for Summer or pair it with a cropped jacket or a wool coat and leggings for Fall. There are also simple instructions to use this pattern to make a top or a longer maxi dress.
The New Girl Dress For 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl: The Melody Valerie Couture new girl dress PDF pattern is our take on the quandary of the new girl. It’s demure, a little old-fashioned – but it offers fabulous design possibilities, like the flame appliques on the skirt, the three small mismatched buttons marching down the front, and the little bits of topstitching that waltz across the dress. This lined dress has darted raglan sleeves, dramatic appliques on the skirt, just the right amount of contrast on the fully lined bodice. It closes up the back with invisible zipper nad features bias facings on the sleeves. It is designed to be made from rayon, wool flannel, lightweight suiting material, or lightweight sateen fabrics. Standard poly or rayon blend lining; sheer or lightweight accents.
The Check Dress For 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl: She was all set to leave for the day - but I made her run through the list one last time anyway. Wallet - check. Phone - check. Library books - check. Good attitude - check. Fabulously smashing frock -check? - check! Yes, that was the works. Beaming a smile, she turned and skipped out the door, into the noise of the city. Treat your 18” doll to this girly, yet elegant, frock - perfect for running errands around town or studying at the library. The unique design lines and extreme dropped waist combine beautifully with the short skirt, and tiny pleats in the sleeve cap add a vintage touch. The “Check” PDF Pattern works best when made from lightweight cotton shirting, chambray, or lawn; the Fall 2012 collection original was made from silk dupioni. For lining, any lightweight cotton or poly lining will work nicely - or turn up the glamour and use silk!

I like the Salina dress the most but I would need to put a t-shirt under it. The top is cut too low. It would make a cute jumper.

I’d vote for the Salina but there is no vote button.
Gosh! another group of great dresses!!! Love Salina pattern and could make use of a LOT of scraps of crepes I have, Also San Remo as I was disappointed the AG version didn’t get the votes but Check is great too and has so many possibilities….then there’s New Girl….Can’t wait to see the winner in this group.

CHECK dress. I love it. I can see making a summer version with sheer sleeves now and a winter-appropriate version when the leaves fall in autumn. i like it also because it covers that BLEEP BLEEP cotton with the string around the neck on the AG dollies. the other patterns leave that part exposed. thank you for offering these dresses. Marilyn
I too, would love to know what the Salina Dress is named after. I just assumed the “i” made an e sound instead of an i, but I grew up shopping in Salina Kansas, and I can’t believe I didn’t see the connection until Rita M. mentioned it. =)
I love the New Girl Pattern.

I prefer the Salina dress. Thank you.
I voted for the Selina dress.
I’m curious as to where the name “Salina” came from. (I could look it up __) The only Salina I know is a town in western Kansas, and I doubt if that town inspired any fashion.
Just curious. And I would like to add my thanks to the many expressed here. I don’t get to make many of the patterns, but I have hopes for the future, and this always gives me something to look forward to on Wednesdays and Fridays.
The Salina dress is perfect for the summer. I would enjoy making it.
