I love Pixie Faire because of the wonderful diversity of skills I have learned and the items I have been able to make that enhance needy children’s lives (anonymously, of course). I am following in my mother’s footsteps who passed her love of helping others and of making doll clothes down to me.
I love pixie faire because of all the wonderful variety of patterns for many sizes of dolls and because they are an outlet for so many designers.
I love pixie faires because it is something I can share with my autistic granddaughter. She loves dolls and we can play together pretending in her dollhouse, cooking and dressing up her dolls.
I love Pixie Faire for so many reasons. FIrst, the free patterns on Friday make getting out of bed exciting! I tend to purchase the more classic patterns to sew, the patterns on Friday challenge me to try new ideas and also to try sewing techniques I never would have tried! Who would guess I would be able to make little shoes! I love the patterns because of the easy to follow directions and pictures, and finally I believe in your sew perfect project!!
I love Pixie Faire because they bring all of my dreams to life;! The clothes I imagine, the ability to bring them to a tangible state, the craft I can use to bring doll adventures to little girls! When I give doll outfits to girls, I encourage them to write up a story about their dolls. I ask them to design and draw more outfits for their stories and I create those outfits too. I would not be able to do this without Pixie Faire patterns and the designer and pattern making classes.
